SEGULA Technologies plans to hire 850 new employees in the Iberian Peninsula this year.

. It has 15 offices in Iberia and plans to continue opening more offices in Valencia, Malaga, Tarragona and other regions of technological and industrial development.

. The profiles most in demand by the Group are engineers and technicians from different disciplines in sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, energy, defense, rail and transport.

Madrid, April 4, 2024. The global engineering group SEGULA Technologies has just announced its hiring forecasts in Iberia in 2024: 850 new employees, which will join the more than 1,300 employees the group has in the Iberian Peninsula.

Thus, the most demanded profiles for the year 2024 by SEGULA Technologies will be: 

  • Engineers and technicians with experience in ADAS, batteries, engines, H2, SW systems within the automotive sector.  
  • Engineers and calculation technicians for our aeronautics projects.  
  • Engineers for the defense sector for SW development with knowledge of  digitalization, drones, radars and weapon systems.  
  • Specialists in reliability and safety disciplines such as RAMS for the railroad and transport sector.  
  • Instrumentation and control engineers, as well as electrical engineers and personnel with knowledge in renewable energy projects. 

SEGULA Technologies as an engine of opportunity for young people

Likewise, by 2024, SEGULA has proposed to increase the number of students who will carry out their internships, thanks to its relationship with Universities and training centers such as the European University of Madrid, University of Barcelona, University of Deusto, University of Zaragoza, University of the Basque Country, University of Valladolid, UNIR, FEUGA, among others.  

In 2023, a total of 87 students and recent graduates from 41 training centers joined SEGULA. In this way, they have been able to carry out internships in technical areas such as railway design, industrial process engineering, BIM methodology, robot programming and drone development, as well as in commercial, marketing and human resources areas.  

SEGULA’s strategy involves maintaining relationships with universities and vocational training centers with the aim of incorporating young talents who will be trained and who will have the opportunity to join the company’s workforce. In fact, in 2023, 20 interns joined SEGULA, 23% of those who were doing their internships.
